In 2012 Layla landed the job of a lifetime and was handpicked by Danny Boyle to voice the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony live to an audience of nearly 1 billion. That same year Layla hosted the Olympic Beach Volleyball Finals and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in Trafalgar Square, both to live audiences of over 20,000. Layla was named in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the Worldand in the same year made Time Out’s Hot 100 – a prestigious list of the most influential creatives in Britain.

Layla can also boast an illustrious television career having fronted pieces for ITVChannel 4Sky SportsEurosport and Premier League TV. A skilled interviewer she understands how to draw out the best of a personality like few others. She was entrusted with the rare privilege of carrying out an in-depth interview with Lionel Messi which received worldwide media coverage and was revered by the industry. She was the first to ask Luis Suarez how he dealt with anger, post his World Cup scandal, she's interviewed David Beckham live, and has been given unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the England Rugby Team.

A prominent figure in the online community Layla was approached by ‘Kick TV’ to host their weekly content and over the Brazil World Cup helping the team reach 100 million views on their channel. At the same time Layla hosted adidas' groundbreaking live World Cup show from Rio, a multi-episode series called The Dugout which has driven more than 15 million visits from YouTube to their brand's website. The content they created for the event trebled their YouTube subscribers and earned over 1.5 billion impressions on YouTube. Layla continues to work with the brand fronting their Champions League show adidas GameDay+, currently the most popular football show online.

An accomplished writer, Layla attended the London School of Journalism and regularly writes for the Huffington Post. She also has a regular column in the Crystal Palace official match day programme. Throughout her presenting career she has often written her own scripts and produced her own shows. Layla benefits from being a multilinguist in French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Alongside all of this Layla can currently be found presenting on ITV for the popular prime time Saturday morning children's show The Munch Box, which now returns for a second series.
